This website is operated by ModoSmart Technologies LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates with its office at M-04, Al Garhoud Business Center, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this policy "we", "us" and "Modo" mean ModoSmart Technologies LLC.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.modotechnologies.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Your card details and personal information
All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
Card payments are processed by our payment gateway provider over an encrypted connection. We do not receive, handle or retain your full card number, expiry date or security code at any point.
What we collect
Information you give us — your name, email address, telephone number, company, delivery or site address, and anything you write in an enquiry or message.
Information about your order — what you bought or requested, the amount, and the records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.
Technical information — your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to prepare and deliver what you have asked for, to take payment, to provide support and warranty service, and to meet our legal and tax obligations in the UAE.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
We send marketing email only where you have asked us to. Every marketing email carries a way to stop receiving them, and stopping does not affect service messages about an order you have placed.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with the people who help us fulfil your order: our payment gateway, our couriers and logistics partners, and the manufacturer where a warranty claim requires it.
We disclose information to a government authority, regulator or court where the law of the UAE requires us to.
These parties may only use your information to do the job we have given them.
How long we keep it
We keep transaction records for as long as UAE tax and commercial law requires. Enquiry and marketing records are kept only while they remain useful, and are deleted on request.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
