Jumbotail runs two floors from its Bengaluru office. Modo integrated Loxone automation into one — presence-based lighting, requirement-led cooling. Over eleven months, it ran roughly 30% leaner on energy per person per hour than the floor without it. Automation, working quietly in the background, doing the job it was installed for.

Every growing office eventually faces the same math problem: more desks, more hours, more heads — and a power bill that scales right along with them. Jumbotail runs two floors out of its Bengaluru headquarters, and on one of them, Modo integrated Loxone into the very way the space operates — automation built into the lighting and air conditioning, working quietly through presence sensors placed across the floor.

It wasn't an upgrade bolted onto the space and left to prove itself over time. Lighting held to occupied zones instead of lighting whole rooms by default. Air conditioning stopped running on a fixed schedule and started responding to whether anyone was actually there. Once it was configured, there was nothing left to operate — no dashboard to check, no habit to enforce, no one who had to remember to switch anything off at the end of the day.

The difference showed up in the numbers immediately, and it held. Measured against the floor without automation, energy consumption per person per hour came in at an average of 30% lower — not for one good month, but consistently, through the mildest stretches of the year and Bengaluru's hardest summer alike. The floor wasn't performing better because someone was paying closer attention. It was performing better because it no longer needed anyone to.

That's the case Loxone makes for offices in general: true automation means the building runs itself, and the savings aren't a one-time event but a permanent shift in how the space behaves. And this was achieved with only lighting and air conditioning automated. The same logic extends naturally to shading, to weather-responsive control, to whatever comes with the next floor Jumbotail decides to build out — the foundation for it is already running.

A floor that used to cost more to keep comfortable now costs less, every single month, without anyone having to manage it. That's not a pilot result. That's what integration looks like once it's actually working.
