Cancelling an order or a project, and when we replace rather than refund.
Cancelling an order for goods
You may cancel before despatch at no cost — email us as soon as possible and we will confirm and refund in full.
Once an order has been despatched it cannot be cancelled; it becomes a return, under the Return Policy.
Items made, ordered or programmed specifically for you cannot be cancelled once we have placed them with the manufacturer.
Cancelling project work
Project work may be cancelled in writing at any time. What is payable depends on how far the work has progressed:
Before we order equipment or begin design — full refund of any deposit, less any survey or design fee already carried out at your request.
After equipment has been ordered — the cost of equipment that cannot be returned to the manufacturer, plus work performed to date.
After installation has started — work performed to date, equipment supplied, and any restocking charge the manufacturer applies.
We will always set this out itemised in writing before taking anything from a deposit.
Cancellation by us
We may cancel an order where the goods are unavailable, where a pricing or description error is discovered, where payment cannot be verified, or where supply would breach a sanctions or export restriction. In each case we refund you in full.
Replacements
Where an item is faulty on arrival, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we will replace it with the same item wherever possible.
If the item is no longer available we will offer an equivalent alternative or a full refund — your choice.
A replacement is despatched once the original has been collected, or sooner where we can see the fault from the photographs you send us.
Warranty replacements
After the 7-day return window, faults are handled under the manufacturer's warranty. We manage the claim on your behalf: tell us the problem and we will arrange assessment, repair or replacement in line with the manufacturer's terms.
