The cards we accept and the currency we charge in.
Cards and currency
We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currency).
How your payment is handled
Card payments are captured by our payment gateway provider over an encrypted connection. We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code.
Your card statement will show the charge under the name of the merchant, ModoSmart Technologies LLC.
If your bank declines a payment, no charge is made and no order is created. Any authorisation hold is released by your bank.
Other ways to pay
For project work we also accept bank transfer against a tax invoice, on the payment schedule set out in the accepted quotation. Bank details appear on the invoice itself — we will never send you new or changed bank details by email alone, and you should telephone us on the number below to verify any request that appears to do so.
Currency conversion
Where your card is issued in a currency other than AED, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fee. That rate and fee are between you and your bank; we charge only the AED amount shown at checkout.
